A global event in 7 cities on the same day. Six months after the successful Jyuni White release in January 2017, Asics held a global launch event in seven cities on the same day to introduce their 2nd limited capsule collection — Jyuni Black.
C/O was hired to come up with a wide range of marketing and packaging solutions for these events including gift boxes for product samples, press cards and wrappings, a collection lookbook, invitation send outs, posters, a magazine-like journal and shopping bags — the regular stuff.
But again, there is always a challenge and this time there were 6 interactive custom-made POS modules that, after conception and manufacturing, had to be shipped to 7 cities around the globe and then to be assembled on the same day. Sounds easy? Well, it’s actually a pain in the a$§. Especially when you are short in time and always work with your client’s money on your mind. Anyway, instead of producing it in a central location and ship it for tens of thousands of Euros, we decided to make a call for tenders in our international production network. In the end we came up with a distributed manufacturing solution (Europe and Asia), so that shipping cost remained reasonable and everything was ready, set, go.
